HOBART — After time deliberating, the Judging Panel for the Evatt Trophy Competition have announced the national champions. Winners of "Evatt" have gone through a tough process of debate, negotation, and compromise to reach their final goal. The Security Council format makes this competition a very difficult one.

The Evatt Trophy Competition is Australia's largest and most prestigious national secondary school debating competition, drawing delegates from all states and territories in Australia together to debate global issues in a mock session of the United Nations Security Council. The Evatt Trophy Competition is a flagship program run by UN Youth Australia.
